ENTRANCES TO DAINTREY AVENUE AND COOGEE BAY ROAD AND BOARDWALK
Last updated 19 August 2021
The Daintrey Avenue walkway is on the eastern side of the ground floor level near the pool. It takes you up to Daintrey Avenue which then leads to St Pauls Street
This walkway has a number pad on the outside which allows guests to gain entry by keying in unit number and pressing the OK button as with any other keypad. Unfortunately there is no keypad to exit so at night so residents have to escort guests out this way.
The walkway to Coogee Bay Road is on the western side of the pool. It is a pleasant walk through our rainforest environment. Unfortunately there is no keypad entry in or out of this gate.
Policy on Open to the public. Council require the 2 walkways to be open to the public from 7.00am to 7.00pm. From time to time these times are changed e.g. during COVID 19 lockdowns
The boardwalk is set in extensive gardens featuring mature Moreton bay fig trees, palms, exotic and native plants. There are seats along the way where you can sit, relax and appreciate the rainforest. There are also seats outside the pool area that get lots of sun in winter. LOCK BOX IN THE LOADING DOCK
Last updated 19 August 2021
This is so you have a spare key to your apartment in case you are locked out.
There are a series of lock boxes, one for each apartment located in the loading bay. Please place a spare key card to your apartment in your box.
The 4 digit code is set by the resident and should be given to the Village Manager in case you forget it (you must remember to tell him what it is).
As noted elsewhere all key cards and fobs are updated annually. You should test all replacement key cards and fobs and remember to put the key card back in the lockbox after each use.
The loading bay is located to the left of the driveway entrance to the building behind reception. To get there without a key card you need to walk along the driveway from the front of the building. If you live in Buildings C or D it is necessary to walk up the fire stairs on the western side of Building B and down to the colonnade. It may be easier to call a neighbour and use their key card to access the loading bay. It is also possible to walk up the driveway from the garage (very carefully).
